I have a small WIP I've been working on this week. I haven't picked up a crochet hook since my candy corn amigurumi so I was a wee bit rusty. I met up with my BFF Jackie over the weekend and started a heart amigurumi. The pattern is very cute and easy - here you go.
Tonight while watching Brave with Nate I finished the body of the heart; once I remember how to figure out decreasing I will finish it.
I think it looks slightly inappropriate at this stage in its creation |
Cool heart (butt)! To decrease, slip through the first stitch and leave it on the hook (there are now 2 stitches on your hook) and slip through the second stitch (there are now 3 stitches on your hook). Pull the yarn through all three stitches. You've done one decrease! For more help, check out You Tube!
ReplyDeleteI just started getting into crocheting amigurumi too. If you want to get more adventurous, check out Fresh Stitches patterns and group on Ravelry.
Decreasing is easy, sc in one stitch but don't finish it! sc in the next and you should have three loops now on your hook. Yarn over and pull through and you've decreased.
ReplyDeleteLove the color! Thanks for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteAwe. It does kinda look like a butt at this point. LOL. Good luck with the decreasing. I'm sure you'll have this looking more like a heart and less like a butt soon!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely pink butt you have LOL - its going to be really cute but yea, it does look like a butt ;)
