{WIP}Nothing? Nothing? Tra la la
For a worsted weight project...I'm certainly taking my time with these mitts! I am almost done with the second one. Like annoyingly almost done...maybe 10 rounds? And then the thumb.
As these are part of the Gratitude KAL, I try to knit when I'm in a positive mood and try to infuse each knit and purl with thankfulness and love.
The cables on these remind me of a labyrinth. Which of course reminds me of the babe. What babe? The babe with the power. What power? The power of voodoo. Who do? You do. Do what? Remind me of the babe.

Ha! I love those and the Labyrinth. Oh Jareth, you can be my Goblin King any day.
ReplyDeleteIts my favorite move in the entire world :D I couldn't resist haha. And I know right??? What were you thinking Sarah?!
DeleteOoh, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
DeleteI had the same problem when I made these (that and I had to sit and write out the full pattern repeat). It took me forever to make the first one and the second one took almost no time at all. It was silly.
ReplyDeleteI definitely missed one row during the cable pattern on the first glove that I didn't realize until the second one. And for the mirrored cables...yikes. I can't wait to finish them and wear them in my meat locker of an office.
DeleteNice mitts and a great color as well. Sounds like the Gratitude KAL is a good thing for you to be involved with.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Carol! The Gratitude KAL is definitely helpful and came at a time when I most needed it.
DeleteYour mitt is gorgeous! The yarn is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's Madeline Tosh Vintage in the Earl Grey colorway. I love the subtle flecks of blue.
DeleteBeautiful cables and color. And positive vibes!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteLovely gold yarn. Every time I see MadTosh I think - I NEED some of that!
ReplyDeleteheh heh heh ... me tooooo. Which is why I have quite a bit in my stash LOL
DeletePretties! Must have Pretties! NO seriously those are gorgeous and I may have to give this pattern a shot though I am not sure if my knitting skills are up to it.
ReplyDeleteHello name sharer :) Cables look a lot harder than they actually are...give it a try :) With big yarn and big needles you will be surprised at how quickly these go.
