Slouchy hats aren't necessarily my preferred type of hat (I have a small head), and as I had mentioned earlier I made the hat for Sarah's head, so if it was for me I would have gone with the smaller size. But I'm happy with how it came out and I think she will love it!
Nate took these photos, and you get to meet Sumo in them as well.

I love that hat. So cute on you. Love how you took a bad situation and made it a positive. Glad you are okay.
ReplyDeleteGlad you weathered the storm ok. We did ok, too. Mostly just branches and such.
ReplyDelete@ Kim - Thanks! I might eventually make a new hat for myself that isn't so slouchy...and I tend to wear striped shirts in my hat shots ROFL...look at my first hat photo back in March. I need to make you a new dishcloth or two.
ReplyDelete@ Inky - I'm glad you were OK too! It could have been so much worse. glad you're OK.
Glad you got through ok, and yay for having time to finish the cute hat ;)
ReplyDeleteThe stupid "hurricane" really messed up my travels this week. Where did you have to stay?
ReplyDeleteThe hat looks great, by the way.
@ Crystal - we stayed across town in a non-evacuation zone. Thankfully, we didn't have to go too far...phew! Although, knitting by candle light...could have done with out!
